With Week 9 approaching, the Green Bay Packers will debut a retro nfl jersey in their game against the Carolina Panthers. The jersey is reportedly inspired by the classic 1923 jersey, paying homage to the team's illustrious history.
This Green Bay Packers jerseys set is quite interesting in terms of its combination. It will be the first time in NFL history that a brown hand-painted helmet has been used, designed to mimic the vintage leather texture of early league helmets. The jersey is predominantly navy blue with gold numbers and shoulder stripes, paired with khaki shorts and navy blue socks. According to the team's historian, 1923 was chosen for their latest retro jersey because it was "the most important year in Packers history."
