During a press conference on Friday, Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon handed the No. 1 Tennessee Titans jerseys to the Chosen One, hoping that the number would have new life.
Warren Moon played for the Houston Oilers for 10 years and had a Hall of Fame-level career, so the team retired the number. It’s a great honor to have your nfl jersey retired, and it’s not common for players to let others wear their jersey numbers, but Warren Moon allowing the No. 1 jersey to be reactivated and worn by a rookie shows that he has a good impression of Cam Ward and has high hopes for him.
