Browns QB Jameis Winston doesn't want turnovers to define him
On Monday night, despite Jameis Winston throwing for 497 yards and nearly having his first magical night in a Browns nfl jersey, the Browns lost to the Denver Broncos 41-32.
Part of the reason was that Winston was intercepted twice. Especially with 1:18 left in the game, the Broncos' third interception killed Cleveland's slim comeback hopes. After the game, Winston stood on the podium in his Cleveland Browns jerseys and apologized to his teammates for letting them down and vowed to pray for redemption.
Winston has become a bright spot for the Cleveland Browns this season, taking over for the injured Deshaun Watson as the starting quarterback. But his turnovers this time are reminiscent of his past high-turnover era. Winston looked back on that very difficult period for him and said that turnovers may change the outcome of a game, but turnovers will not define him. He will continue to work hard on the fundamentals and continue to give his all.
