A new backup quarterback has been confirmed!
The Green Bay Packers recently announced good news: they have found a new backup quarterback – former Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor will wear Green Bay Packers jerseys next season.
This marks the start of the 16th season for the soon-to-be 37-year-old veteran quarterback, and the Packers will be his eighth team. He will replace Malik Willis as one of Jordan Love's backup options. In his previous 15 seasons, Tyrod Taylor has played 100 games, starting 62. However, most of his starting experience came during his time with the Buffalo Bills jerseys.
Tyrod Taylor also holds an unparalleled record: the only quarterback in NFL history to have over 10,000 passing yards, over 2,000 rushing yards, over 70 passing touchdowns, over 20 rushing touchdowns, and fewer than 35 interceptions. Currently, he has accumulated 13,033 passing yards, 73 touchdowns, and 34 interceptions.
